Egg Hunt
EGG HUNT — In April 1969, hundreds of youngsters stampede across a muddy Memorial Park in search of Easter Eggs. It was estimated that about 800 children, most of them in the younger age groups, took part in the hunt sponsored by the Jaycees and the City Recreation Department. Two thousand candy eggs were hidden in the park.
