Catheleen Wylie

Catheleen A. (Wright) Wylie, 71, formerly of West Vandergrift, died at 10 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 22, 1941, in Gardiner, Maine, she was the daughter of Lawrence Wright and Catheleen Agnes (Burns) Wright.

She was married to Richard Lee Wylie, who died Dec. 15, 2003.

Mrs. Wylie enjoyed reading, grocery shopping and especially being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Richard L. Wylie Jr. (Kristina) of Butler; two daughters, Teresa Cygan (Andrew) of Butler and Connie Sebak (Anthony) of Lower Burrell; six granddaughters; one brother, Joseph Wright (Patricia) of Milford, Mass.; and two sisters, Joyce Pickett (Paul) of Milford, Mass., and Mary Ann Gladstone (David) of Ventura, Calif.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Geno Labonville; and two brothers, Henry John Wright and John Lester Wright.

WYLIE — Friends of Catheleen A. (Wright) Wylie, who died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, will be welcomed by her family on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Clawson Funeral Home, 170 Main St., Leechburg.
