VA Butler Healthcare will host its 10th annual Summer Health and Wellness event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 18 on the lawn of the Abie Abraham VA Clinic, 353 N. Duffy Road, Butler Township.

Information about VA programs including health promotion and disease prevention, nutrition and food services, whole health, suicide prevention and women’s health will be available. Veteran Community Partnership representatives will be available to discuss free program offerings.

The event also will feature a farmers’ market and a tai chi demonstration. The event is free to attend, but attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items such as snack bars, nuts, cereal, canned items and microwaveable dinners to donate to the veteran food pantry.
