JEN HANSEN (Slippery Rock University) was named PSAC Female Field Athlete of the Week. She won the pole vault at the Elliston Invite at Lock Haven with an effort of 12 feet, 11C\v inches, which put her into a tie for second in Division II.•

LAUREN PENNELL (Seneca Valley), a pitcher for the Grove City College softball team, tossed a three-hitter in a 10-1 win over La Roche recently. She had two hits as well. Pennell also had two hits and three RBI in a 10-2 win in Game 2 of the doubleheader.•

AMANDA SHEPPECK (Butler), a freshman third baseman on the Grove City College softball team, collected two RBI in the first game.•

NICK DeCROO (Freeport), a senior on the Hobart (N.Y.) College hockey team, was named to the ECAC All-Academic team. He has a grade-point average above 3.0 as an economics major.
