Camp Bantam set at Moraine
The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is an opportunity for visitors to explore Butler County’s great outdoors.
Camp Bantam will feature activities for all ages at Moraine State Park.
Outdoor enthusiasts from the Butler Outdoor Club will lead the activities including disk golf, bike rides, trail hikes and kayaking throughout the weekend.
“This is a great way for families to explore Butler County and all of the outdoor recreation that is available in the area,” said Jack Cohen, president of Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau.
“Moraine State Park is our county’s No. 1 tourist destination, and we hope our festival attendees will take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy some time in Butler County’s great outdoors.”
Those who wish to participate are encouraged to sign up online at www.bantam jeepfestival.com. On-site registration also will be offered on a space-available basis.
Most programs are free or require a nominal fee.
A free round-trip shuttle service from the Big Butler Fair Grounds to Moraine will be provided.
The Butler Health System is sponsoring Camp Bantam.
