Cooper Cabin Pioneer Homestead, 199 Cooper Road, Cabot, will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and Aug. 23 for a program and docent-led tours of the cabin and grounds. Reenactor Steve Lubanovic will present a hands-on Pioneer Wilderness Demonstration on Sunday, including fire making with flint and steel. The cabin was built circa 1810 by the Cooper family and was home to their descendants until 1963. The property includes the cabin, a spinning house, a springhouse and an herb garden cared for by the Herbal Thymes Garden Club and the Master Gardeners. Harmony Museum on Mercer Street in Harmony, representing the town founded in 1804 by pacifist German Lutheran Separatists and their Harmony Society, will host the fifth annual Harmony Museum antique firearms show and sale on Saturday.
