Charlotte Anne Zediker, 90, of Butler died unexpectedly Tuesday evening at her home.

She was born July 5, 1922, in Brownsville, Pa., and was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Gough) Carroll.

Charlotte graduated from Hooker High School and Butler Business College. She had worked for Koppers in Petrolia and then along with her husband Ralph, she owned and operated Hiland Golf Course in Butler since 1954.

She was a member of the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, was an avid reader and loved flowers.

Surviving are her son, Alan C. Zediker of Butler; her daughter, Sarah Rottman and her husband, Terry, of Butler; her three grandchildren, Taylor Zediker, Ralph W. Zediker, III and Megan Zediker; her four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Zediker Sr., who she married July 5, 1945, and who died Aug. 20, 2001; two sons, Ralph W. Zediker Jr. and Martin F. Zediker; an infant daughter, Gail Patricia Zediker; a brother, John Carroll; and two sisters, Mary Griffith and Rose Bowman.

ZEDIKER — Friends of Charlotte Anne Zediker, who passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Matt McClain, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Butler.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
