In his will, Tim Shaffer left gifts totaling $6 million to be divided amongst four charities in Butler County. During a luncheon on Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, at Butler Country Club the following representatives of the charities accepted Shaffer’s gifts: from left, Teddy Davis with Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Prospect; Megan Coval with Butler County Community College; Candee Barnes with Butler County Historical Society; and Rodney Gasch with Historic Harmony.
