William Darrell Stone went to be with the Lord Aug. 5 at the Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington, Pa.

He was born Sept. 4, 1943, in Purcell, Okla., to James Amber and Clara Stone.

He attended and graduated from Draughon's Business College in Oklahoma City and worked as an accountant. In 1982, he moved to Butler, where he spent the rest of his life.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three children, Felicia Anne Stone-Pocock and her husband, Tim, of Branson, Mo., Johnny Lee Stone of Oklahoma City and William Darren Stone and his wife, Emily, of Snyder, Okla.; two grandchildren, Kylee and Anistyn Stone of Snyder, Okla.; his brother, Curtis Stone and his wife, Emma Faye, of Oklahoma City; his nephews, Robert Stone and his wife, Brenda, of Oklahoma City and Ronald Stone and his wife, Diana, of Norman, Okla.; his cousin, Jim Tudor and his wife, Bev, of Butler; and many other relatives.

STONE — A memorial service for William Darrell Stone, who died Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, was conducted Sept. 26 at Sugar Creek Rest.
