Vincent S. Setnar

Vincent S. Setnar, 77, of September Drive died Monday at his home.

Born Feb. 27, 1929, in Butler, he was a son of Stanley S. and Mary Mudrick Setnar.

He was a retired Army warrant officer serving from 1946 to 1968. After his retirement, he returned to the Butler area and was an automobile mechanic at Nichol's Dodge and Fraser Dodge for a period of 12 years.

Mr. Setnar was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

He was a former member of the VFW and the Disabled American Veterans.

Surviving are his wife, Liselotte "Lee" Kleber Setnar, whom he married Dec. 28, 1953; three sons, John S. Setnar of Mount Joy, Vincent W. Setnar of Moon Township and Stephen R. Setnar of Butler; a brother, William Setnar of Butler; and a sister, Mrs. James (Arletta) Powell of Renfrew. Eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A sister preceded him in death.

<B>SETNAR</B> — There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Vincent S. Setnar, who died Monday, April 10, 2006, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Franklin Street, with the Rev. Falkenhan officiating. Final arrangements and cremation services are being handled by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>.The Women's Council of St. Peter will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at the church.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
