Alice C. Wheatall

Alice C. Wheatall, 83, of Indiana, Pa., formerly of Titusville and Warren, passed away Saturday.

She was born in 1930 to Lloyd and Dorothy (Hanson) Carpenter in Titusville.

Alice was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Warren and the Grace United Methodist Church in Indiana.

She graduated from Titusville High School in 1948.

Alice was active in various women's groups, the Indiana Ballroom Dance Club, the Naughty Pines Square Dance Club, the Circle 8 Square Dance Club, Warren, and the Red Hat Society. She was also a volunteer at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Robert C. Wheatall, and his wife, Barbara, of Butler; three grandchildren, Brian Wheatall and his wife, Brittany, of Aliquippa, Laura Mellott and her husband, Devin, of Williamsport, and Karen Wheatall of Butler; a brother, Bruce Carpenter and his wife, Beverly, of Erie; and a brother-in-law, Ward Wheatall, of Williamsburg, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Erma Carpenter; her husband, Robert M. Wheatall, in 1997, and an infant sister, Doris Rae.

WHEATALL — Visitation for Alice C. Wheatall, who died Saturday, June 22, 2013, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at theBowser-Minich FuneRal Home, 500 Ben Franklin Road South, Indiana, Pa. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Indiana, Pa., with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating.
