An Oct. 2 wedding is being planned by Monica Mitch of Raleigh, N.C., and Thomas Donaldson Jr. of Nutley, N.J.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Karen Mitch of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Thomas Donaldson Sr. and Venida Kleemann, both of Butler.

The bride-elect graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and in 2001 from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and Community College of Allegheny County, earning a degree in business management. She works as an esthetician for E'Scentials Day Spa in Raleigh, N.C.

Her fiancé graduated in 1993 from BHS and in 2000 from Slippery Rock University, receiving a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. He works as an accurary for Milliman USA in West Patterson, N.J.
