Kimberly S. Carben

Kimberly S. Carben, 55, of Chicora went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday at her home of natural causes.

She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and read the Bible daily.

She was born in Butler on Oct., 26, 1960, the daughter of Robert C. Emerick and Patricia Ann Knoch

After attending Knoch High School, she was an LAS at Saint John's Nursing Home in Mars until she retired in 1995 due to ill health. She was a loving mother, always putting her family first.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey M. Carben, whom she married May 22, 1999; three grandchildren, Kody Myers of Saxonburg, Kameron Myers of Chicora and Kylynn Colton of Gibsonia; her father, Robert C. and his wife, Lillian Emerick, of Rural Valley; her mother, Patricia A. Knoch Emerick Burns and her husband, Jamie, of West Sunbury; one brother, Dwayne Emerick and his wife, Amy, of Volant; two nieces; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Ann Sorg; and one sister, Tamara Lynn Carben.

CARBEN — At the request of Kimberly S. Carben, who died Thursday, March 10, 2016, there will be no visitation.Memorial services will be later at the Mount Chestnut United Presbyterian Church, 727 W.
