Concept Jeeps on display

The new Jeep Trailhawk concept combines the core off-road features of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the sophistication of an on-road open-air concept vehicle.

The Underground, previously known as The Chrysler Mopar group, will return again to the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival to provide a rare, up-close and personal look at concept Jeeps and new top-of-the-line brand models.

In 2012, several concept vehicles were showcased at the festival, marking the first time this many concept Jeeps visited the East Coast.

This year, Underground is bringing two concept vehicles as well as two new models.

“The opportunity to see these rare concept vehicles shouldn't be passed up by anyone who is a Jeep fan,” said Patti Jo Lambert, festival director. “Jeep enthusiasts can come out and see these vehicles that are normally only seen on magazine covers.”

The Underground vehicles at the festival include:

Trailhawk II Concept, a Grand Cherokee with a diesel.In addition, two new models will attend the show:Production 2014 Grand CherokeeWrangler 10th Anniversary RubiconThe Underground is the only company that builds vehicles for the media to drive and evaluate. New vehicles are built and shown at events such as Moab, Sema, and Spring Fest as well as NASCAR events.The Jeeps will be on display all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Cooper's Lake Campground.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition arrives with unique features designed to thrill hard-core fans, according to Jeep's website, www.jeep.com.
