How-to clinics offer tips

Joe McGee of River Raider in Chambersburg conducts a how-to clinic at the 2012 Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival. Clinics this year will take place over the course of the three-day festival and include “How to Maximize Your Four Wheel Drive Experience” and “How to Find, Identify and Restore Willys Jeeps.”

Did you ever wish you had personal access to an expert who could give you tips and techniques about a variety of topics for your Jeep?

The how-to-clinics at this year's Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival will provide plenty of that.

Various sponsors and vendors will offer their advice about off-roading, restoration, modifications and other subjects for Jeepers.

The scheduled clinics include:

Friday• 11 a.m. — “How to Maximize Your Four Wheel Drive Experience,” presented by United Four Wheel Drive Association.• 2 p.m. — “Making Your Drivetrain Work for You,” presented by 4WD Hardware.

Saturday• 11 a.m. — “How to Find, Identify and Restore Willys Jeeps,” presented by Kaiser Willys.• Noon — “Beef Up a Cherokee: All the options for fixing up a Cherokee,” presented by Trail Tubes.• 2 p.m. — “Top It All Off! Choosing and Maintaining Your Top,” presented by 4WD Hardware.• 3:30 p.m. — “Full Body Armor Packages for Your Jeep,” presented by River Raider Offroad.

Sunday• 1 p.m. — “Winch: Get Un-Stuck! Winching Tips, Tricks and Safety,” presented by 4WD Hardware.
