BUFFALO TWP — Freeport Senior High School will present Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” at 7:30 p.m. March 12, 13 and 14 and 2 p.m. March 15 in the high school auditorium, 625 S. Pike Road.

Tickets are $9, $5 for senior citizens, and are all reserved. For ticket information, call 724-895-3176.

Robert Harris is the director, while Makenzie Kan and Kaylee Polena are student directors.

Thomas Koharchik is the producer, and Greg Adams is set designer and stage manager.

Chaz Shipman is the pit crchestra director, Elizabeth Surgil, the choreographer and Sara Sypulski, the assistant choreographer.

Heather Koharchik is the costume designer.

“Beauty and the Beast” tells the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in the spell of an enchantress.

If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed to his former self.

But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
