Freeport plays 'Game of Tiaras'
FREEPORT — Freeport Area Senior High School will present “Game of Tiaras” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 and 19.
Tickets are $9, or $5 for senior citizens 65 and older.

“Game of Tiaras” is billed as a “bloody, bloody tragic comedy in two acts, with apologies to Shakespeare.”
When the aging king of a Magical Kingdom (England) decides to split his empire between his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles a copyrighted character), terrible tragedy ensues. Terrible, hilarious tragedy.
The play, an adaptation of “King Lear,” combines the gut-wrenching plot twists of “Game of Thrones” and the soul-numbing despair of Shakespearean tragedy.
Thomas Koharchik is the director, and Brittany Kolek is the student director.
Steven Kovach is the stage manager, Ainsley Arrington the production assistant and Heather Koharchik, costume designer.
Jacquelyn Burris is the properties manager and Jennifer Koedel, the box office manager.
