There is always a face before me,

A voice I would love to hear.

A smile I will always remember

Of a man I loved so dear.

His life earnest, his actions kind,

A willing hand, an active mind.

Anxious to please, loathe to offend,

A loving man and a faithful friend.

Your presence I miss, your memory I treasure.

Loving you always, forgetting you never.

The tears in my eyes I can wipe away,

The ache in my heart will always stay.

Still loved, still missed and very dear,

Though absent, you are very near.

So sadly missed but never forgotten!
