Julie Bobby, daughter of Mike and Donna Bobby of Butler, recently returned from Chicago where she competed in the second round of "Rhythm Nation," Fox TV's dance version of "American Idol."She became eligible during casting calls May 10 at Slippery Rock University. She performed contemporary hip-hop, leaps and other technical moves when a Fox producer flew from Los Angeles to videotape and interview local dancers.On May 13 in Chicago, she had to choreograph and perform a number on stage. She was not chosen for the show."It was more or less the chance of a lifetime," said Bobby, a freshman dance major at SRU.Rhythm Nation is scheduled to debut nationally July 18.Winners at the Butler Duplicate Bridge Club game, held May 12, were:
