Bethany Joy Lenz

Former “One Tree Hill” star Bethany Joy Lenz spent 10 years in a cult, she revealed this week.

The actress made the stunning revelation to her former co-stars Hillarie Burton Morgan and Sophia Bush on Monday’s episode of their shared podcast, “Drama Queens.”

“I was in a cult for 10 years,” she said . “That would be a really valuable experience to write about, and the recovery — 10 years of recovery after that. So there’s a lot to tell.”

However, she admitted that recovery process was difficult.

“I think the ADHD has made it really difficult over the years,” she said. “I have lots of essays; I have lots of chapters and things, but [I have] to really commit to putting it all together.”

Lenz said that any possible book about her time in the undisclosed cult would have to wait.

“I don’t know how much I can say because there are still people and legal things in place that make it more complicated for the timing of that,” she said. “But I do write. I write all the time.”

“There’s a lot to tell,” she said, but she felt “the pressure of getting it right and everything having to be exactly real, and all the people that are involved.”

While Lenz did not go into much detail during Monday’s show, according to People magazine , she has publicly spoken out against the Mosaic Church in the past. In a 2021 Instagram post, she referred to the church as a “textbook 101″ cult , citing “the hierarchy in this ‘church,’ the level of abuse that I’ve consistently heard goes on behind the scenes and how everything centers around the leader.”

Judas Priest replaces Ozzy Osbourne at Power Trip in Southern California

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Judas Priest has officially been added to the Power Trip lineup, replacing Ozzy Osbourne in his originally scheduled Saturday slot during the three-day hard rock and metal festival taking place at Empire Polo Club in Indio on Oct. 6-8.

On Monday, Osbourne said he’d no longer be performing due to health concerns.

“As painful as it is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out of performing on Power Trip in October,” an emailed statement from Osbourne read. “My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward. Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed.”

However, he did note a replacement would be coming shortly after, adding: “They are personal friends of mine and I can promise that you will not be disappointed.”

Just a day later, in a post shared on the official festival Instagram account, Judas Priest said: “Power Trippers, are you ready for some Judas Priest style heavy metal! We are excited and ready to raise double horns way up high together.”

Produced by Goldenvoice, Power Trip still includes Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden performing on Oct. 6, AC/DC with Judas Priest now on Oct. 7 and Metallica and Tool on Oct. 8. Tickets are still available starting at $599 for general admission; $799 for three-day reserved seating; and $1,599 for pit access at powertrip.live .

Osbourne has been absent from touring since 2018, with his last full show being the Ozzfest New Year’s Eve bash at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, due to several back and neck surgeries and a battle with Parkinson’s disease, which ultimately forced him to cancel the remainder of his No More Tours 2 Tour. In September 2022, he played a quick medley of songs at halftime during the Los Angeles Rams’ season opener and a month prior, he’d delivered a surprise performance alongside Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi at the closing ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in his hometown of Birmingham, England.

Judas Priest, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022, is set to release a new record in 2024 and have a bunch of European tour dates scheduled next year. Judas Priest was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Alice Cooper in 2022 alongside Dolly Parton, Eminem, Carly Simon, Duran Duran and others.

Jonah Hill slams ‘Zoey 101′ star Alexa Nikolas’ ‘predatory’ behavior claims

A lawyer for Jonah Hill is denying the latest allegations against him, this time by Nickelodeon alum Alexa Nikolas, who claims the “Moneyball” star assaulted her when she was a teen.

The Oscar nominee and “Superbad” actor, 39, slammed the claims as “a complete fabrication,” and dismissed the “Zoey 101″ actress, 31, as “demonstrably unreliable,” Marty Singer told Deadline.

Nikolas took to Twitter over the weekend to accuse Hill of forcing himself on her when she was a teenager, claims made after his ex, surf instructor Sarah Brady, accused the new dad of being a “misogynist narcissist.”

“I just gotta say when I was 16 I got invited to a house party at #justinlongs house,” Nikolas wrote in her thread , alleging that at one point, Hill “slammed me to the door and shoved his tongue down my throat. I was so appalled I pushed him off of me and ran inside.”

Elsewhere in the thread, Nikolas said she has been traumatized by men in Hollywood.

“It’s truly sad the traumatic events I have lodged in my body and mind. Things have to change,” she said. “This type of predatory behavior was hyper normalized when I was a kid. I’m proud to see women standing up to abusive men now.”

The incident in question “never happened,” Singer told Deadline , referring to Nikolas as “a serial accuser who has made assorted accusations against multiple men in the entertainment industry.”

Brady last week took to her Instagram story to share screenshots of texts allegedly from the “Wolf of Wall Street” star during their short-lived, mid-pandemic relationship. In the messages, the sender accused Brady of violating his “boundaries for romantic partnership” if she, for instance, continued sharing images of herself in swimsuits or having “boundaryless inappropriate friendships with men” or “with women who are in unstable places.”

Brady highlighted his “misuse” of the term “boundaries” and accused him of controlling behavior and gaslighting.

“I hope my ex has a daughter,” Brady wrote in a separate post. “Maybe she’ll turn him into a real feminist because the fact that he calls himself a feminist now is laughable.”

In the spring, Hill and girlfriend Olivia Millar together welcomed a baby whose sex has not yet been reported.
