John Joseph Logan
John Joseph Logan, 83, of Glenshaw passed away peacefully Wednesday in Pittsburgh with his family by his side.
John was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Thomas F. Logan and Nora Veronica (Murray) Logan.
Throughout his life, John worked in the insurance business for over 50 years. He was an avid motorcyclist and served in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne, during the Korean War.
Left to cherish John's memory are his wife of nine years, Charlene A. (Kitzinger) Logan; his children, John R. Logan (Debra) of Harrisburg and Linda McPherson (Rick) of Butler; his grandchildren, Jessica R. Logan, John R. Logan Jr., Brenna F. McPherson, Claire J. McPherson and Grace A. McPherson; his stepdaughter, Erica Zamulevic; his step-grandchildren, Riley Morgan and Sarah Gee; his great-granddaughter, Annabelle Gee; his siblings, Mary Lynch, Margaret (Peggy) Kushner, Robert Logan, Daniel Logan and Deborah Roe; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret R. (Churak) Logan.
LOGAN — Friends of John Joseph Logan, who died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt.
