Vincent L. Cunningham Jr.
Vincent L. Cunningham Jr., 59, of Fombell passed away on Tuesday after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 18, 1952, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Deloris R. (Allmann) Cunningham of Fombell and the late Vincent L. Cunningham Sr.
Vince graduated in 1970 from Seneca Valley High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1971 for two years. Following the Army, he was a machinist at the Herman Corp. and at Leopold and Berry Metal.
He had been a scuba diver for the scuba team and a volunteer firefighter for the Zelienople Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Zelienople American Legion, the Conway Sportsman Club and St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople.
He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. His twin grandsons know him best as “Pap Pap Ham.”
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Bates) Cunningham, who he married on Nov. 3, 1976; his two sons, Gary Cunningham and his wife, Heather, of New Castle and Keith Cunningham and his wife, Jamie, of Hopewell Township; his twin grandsons, Brody Vincent and Brayden Charles Cunningham of Hopewell Township; his sister, Carol (Cunningham) Dunmire of Blairsville; his brother, Terry Cunningham and his wife, Karen, of Fombell; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father; an infant brother; his maternal grandparents, William and Emma (Young) Allmann; and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Ada (Frye) Cunningham.

Cunningham Jr., who passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Peter's Reformed Church, 320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. James R. Bertoti, his church pastor, officiating. Friends will please meet at the church.
