Kaete Winer, 77, of Butler, formerly of Silver Spring, Md., passed away at 2 a.m. Monday at her home.

Born on Jan. 21, 1937, in Germany, Mrs. Winer was the daughter of the late Karl Wolff and Elfrieda Koerner.

Mrs. Winer came to the United States in May of 1955.

She retired in 1995 as an insurance agent and underwriter for B.F. Saul in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Winer is survived by her daughters, Elaine Dillaman and her husband, Don, of Slippery Rock and Kathy Dillaman and her husband, Garry, of Boyers, and her son, Edward Bell of Forestville.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Winer was preceded in death by her husband, James Winer.
