George D. McCanch, 78, of Cabot, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020.

He was born Jan. 10, 1942, in Carmichaels, Pa.

George served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.

He enjoyed golfing and autobody work.

He was loved and will be greatly missed.

George was the loving husband of Beverley McCanch for over 58 years, and the father of George McCanch Jr., Jeffrey (Marlene) McCanch, Doug McCanch, Todd McCanch and Christina (Dan) Schroeder.

He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
