Robert A. Malvarose Sr., 66, of Butler died Saturday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 5, 1949, in Butler, he was a son of the late Arthur R. Malvarose and Amelia (Ligashewsky) Malvarose.

He had worked as a division supervisor for the Exxon Mobil Co.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Karen D. (Rikal) Malvarose, and one son, Robert A. Malvarose Jr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Victor, and his sister.
