Rick Younkin

Rick Younkin, 64, of Franklin Park died Saturday, May 7, 2016.

He was the beloved son of the late Cecil and Mary Jane (Harding) Younkin.

He was the loving brother of Dennis (Winifred) Younkin of Venice, Fla., Barry (Deborah) Younkin of Kissimmee, Fla., Ronald (Myrna) Younkin of the Philippines, Loraine (Bruce) Schimminger of Hollidaysburg, Dana (Rick) Martini of Homer City and Tami Jo (David) Combs of Louisville, Ky. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rick received his bachelor of science from the University of Pittsburgh, his master's from Duquesne University, and his advanced graduate studies certificate from Pitt. He was a school psychologist and had a private practice in Cranberry Township.

YOUNKIN — The family of Rick Younkin, who died Saturday, May 7, 2016, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley/Franklin Park. A Mass of Christian burial will be at SS. John & Paul Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Private burial will be at the Armagh Cemetery, Armagh, Pa.Family suggests donations to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, 212 9th St., Pittsburgh, PA 15222-3507.
