Sarah P. Edwards Daniels

Sarah P. Edwards Daniels, 90, of Butler peacefully passed away at her family's residence Friday while under hospice care.

Born March 11, 1927, in Sarver, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Irene A. Schweitzer Edwards.

She was a member of the St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.

Sarah retired from the dietary department at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening and growing flowers.

She is survived by her loving daughter and caregiver, Karen M. Daniels of Butler; four sons: William J. Daniels of West Sunbury, Larry M. (Lorri) Daniels of Butler, Dennis E. (Linda) Daniels of Slippery Rock and Jeffrey A. Daniels of Butler; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Daniels Jr., who passed away March 12, 2011; her daughter, Sarah Jane Christy; one brother; and three sisters.
