Bill Secunda was recently awarded the Best in Show award at the Festival of the Master's art show held recently at Walt Disney World.The prize was given for a life-size sculpture of a Buffalo made of welded nails. The prize was Secunda's second best-in-show at the Disney event.Another of Secunda's welded sculptures was recently placed in the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum in Williamsburg, Va.———
Vandergrift resident <B>Alexandria Polka</B>, 6, has been named the winner of the Adora Doll Company's 2006 Make Your Own Baby contest.Polka was among 8 contestants participating at <B>Worsley's </B>in Butler. As the winning entry at Worsley's, Polka's doll was chosen from entries made by 60 stores.As the winner, Polka receives a trip to the IPEX Doll show in Orlando, Fla., and a cash prize. Worsley's will receive $600 in free Adora merchandise for submitting the winning entry.———
Winners at the <B>Butler Duplicate Bridge Club </B>game held Dec. 28 were <B>Ken Bergman </B>and <B>Bill Holt</B>. Coming in second place were <B>Ray Kramer </B>and <B>John Kristufek</B>.
