Jeepers travel from far and wide
The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival attracts more visitors from outside the state than any other event in Butler County.
According to the registration data for Jeeps attending the festival, there will be visitors from 33 states and two Canadian provinces.
“We’re very happy with how the festival has grown as a tourism attraction,” said Jack Cohen, president of the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau.
“Jeep owners are now making the trip to Butler a yearly tradition with their families and they are coming from more states than ever before.”
Jeeps are traveling from as far away as California, Texas and Florida.
The festival expects to welcome more than 2,500 Jeeps this year, a 35 percent increase over 2014.
