Henry J. 'Jack' Buterbaugh
Henry J. “Jack” Buterbaugh, 81, of Mars, formerly of Richland Township, died Monday morning at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Commodore, Indiana County, on June 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Dean and Effie Henry Buterbaugh.
Jack was a mechanic for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. in McKees Rocks.
He was a member of Gibsonia Presbyterian Church. An avid trap and skeet shooter, he was a member of the Mars Rod and Gun Club, the North Side Sportsman's Association and the American Trap Association.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes Hood Buterbaugh, who he married June 22, 1951; two sons, Keith D. Buterbaugh and his wife, Donna, of Mars and Joseph Buterbaugh of Wexford; a sister, Virginia G. O'Herrick of Johnstown; a brother, William M. Buterbaugh of Turtle Creek; his grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Megan, Katie, Stephen, Bryan and Jordan; and his great-grandchildren, Alaina, Camden and Graysen.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Buterbaugh; his daughter-in-law, Judith Buterbaugh; and his brothers, Milford, Harold and Ernest Buterbaugh.
BUTERBAUGH — Friends of Henry J. “Jack” Buterbaugh, who died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, will be received at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Darcy Hawk, pastor of Gibsonia Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
