Robert Edward Fleeger, 46, of Philadelphia died Monday at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 15, 1969, in Butler to Dixie (née Thayer) and Robert K.

He was a professor of philosophy at Saint Joseph's University. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth A.; his brother, Ryan; his sister, Faithanne; his brother, Reese; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

FLEEGER — A funeral service for Robert Edward Fleeger, who died Monday, March 21, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at BRINGHURST FUNERAL HOME at WEST LAUREL HILL CEMETERY, 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd, Pa.
