CHARLEROI — A Penn-DOT employee has resigned after allegedly driving drunk to the scene of a fatal crash last month.

Officials say 51-year-old Michael Budzanoski resigned after being charged last week with driving under the influence.

Police say Budzanoski was drunk when he arrived at a crash scene in Washington County on Nov. 5 in a Penn-DOT vehicle.

KING OF PRUSSIA — Sharpshooters have killed 225 deer as part of an operation to reduce the deer population in Valley Forge National Historical Park.Park officials are trying to reduce the herd from about 1,250 to under 200 over the next two years. Natural resource manager Kristina Heister said nearly 7,000 pounds of venison were donated to the needy.

MCKEES ROCKS — A 70-year-old Pittsburgh-area tailor has surrendered and been jailed on charges he groped two female customers while measuring them for clothes.Allegheny County police say Anthony Tornatore of Kennedy Township groped a 51-year-old woman on Oct. 30, and twice tried to kiss and grope a 29-year-old woman during fittings on Nov. 26 and Dec. 2.Police say Tornatore pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct after similar allegations two years ago.
