A Chinese film series will open March 25 with "The Personals" at the Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St.

The film will begin at 7 p.m.

This 1998 Taiwanese film is 118 minutes long, and follows a woman named Du Jeazhen who meets with prospective suitors in a fancy Taipei restaurant. All of the men are respondents to a personal advertisement that she's posted in a Taipei newspaper.

PITTSBURGH — The National Aviary and Pittsburgh Children's Museum will offer free admission on Friday for "Won't You Be My Neighbor? Day." PITTSBURGH — Opening Friday at the ToonSeum will be "Cartoons Covered," an exhibit of illustrations that have appeared on the cover of Pittsburgh City Paper during the past decade.The exhibit will continue through April 4.The show's 16 contributors include cartoonists and illustrators whose images address a range of styles and subjects from loving caricatures of Myron Cope to not-so-loving caricatures of Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, and from visual puzzles to a Mad magazine-style fold-in.The exhibition kicks off with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays, except holidays.Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children ages 5 to 17; children younger than 5 are admitted free.
