Wilson 90th birthday
Betty Jane Wilson, of Penn Township, celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, July 1, at a dinner with family and friends at North Main Street Church of God in Butler.
The former Betty Jane Singer was born on July 6, 1933, in Butler.
She married Donald Merle Wilson on March 26, 1954, at Meridian United Presbyterian Church in Butler Township. He is deceased.
Wilson has two children, David Wilson of Butler, and Bruce Wilson of Renfrew.
She also has six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is a homemaker.
She has been a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Butler for more than 30 years, having been involved in Sunday school and Bible studies over the years.
She is a member of Silver Sneakers and a former member of the Christian Women’s Club and the Armco Girls.
