Juanita Jean Henry Olen
Juanita “Jean” Henry Olen, 71, of Butler, formerly of Prospect, passed away Thursday evening in the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler, following an illness.
She was born Dec. 7, 1941, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Warren W. and Florence Raisley Henry.
She retired as a nurses aid at St. John's Specialty Care, Mars.
She was a member of the Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, serving as an elder and coordinating vacation Bible school.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles E. Olen, who she married April 19, 1969; her son, Scott E. (Beverly) McKinney of Prospect; two grandchildren, Gina and Clayton McKinney; two brothers, Gary Henry of Cabot and Jeff (Nikki) Henry of North Carolina; three sisters, Sandra (Richard) Carlantonio of Boyers, Becky (Jon) Miller of Harrisville and Kim (Dave) Bowrin of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Raisley Henry; her father and stepmother, Warren W. and Dorothy Henry; her first husband, Richard McKinney; her son, James McKinney; an infant sister; and one sister, Judy Montgomery.
OLEN — Friends of Juanita “Jean” Henry Olen, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.There will be no services on Sunday. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with her pastor, Rob Allison of the Mt. Nebo Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt.
