Constance “Connie” Lorraine (Boulanger) Cumberland
Constance “Connie” Lorraine (Boulanger) Cumberland, 91, went to join our Heavenly Father at 9:45 a.m. Friday.
She was born on Aug. 14, 1926, in Butler, and was the daughter to the late Joseph and Margaret Boulanger.
On Dec. 2, 1972, she married her love, Marshall Cumberland. They resided in Chicora until 1991, when they moved to Ohio. He survives and lives in their Van Buren, Ohio, home.
Connie was a homemaker but worked at several companies when she lived in Pennsylvania, some of which are Bantam Car Factory, Bobbie Brooks, the Pottery and the Monroe Street Hotel, where she worked as a waitress and met her loving husband.
She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was an active member of their fellowship group. She loved going with them on evening visits to families of the community. One of her favorite hobbies was making crafts and ornaments from beads, something she learned and did with her mother.
Connie enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends or as she called it “going bummin'.”
Connie was a sweet and gentle soul whose laugh could lighten up anyone's day. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother who was deeply loved and will sadly be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two sons, Harry A Gallagher Jr. of Findlay, Ohio, and Robert L.
