Thomas E. McDonald
Thomas E. McDonald, 64, of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born June 27, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Ray and Vivian McDonald.
Thomas was Lutheran by faith.
A 1973 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, he was a wrestling champion.
He served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1973 until 1975.
Thomas was employed as a mail handler by the U.S. Postal Service. He loved his old school rock music and Western movies, and had an avid love for animals of all kind and Budweiser beer.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for his free spirit.
Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving companion of 15 years, Kim Fulmer; his daughter, Theresa; his four brothers, Ray (Barbara) McDonald of Cranberry Township, Guy (Sandy) McDonald of Moon Township, Gary McDonald of Pittsburgh and Mark McDonald of Indianapolis, Ind.; his three sisters, Linda (Kirk) Hunt of Monaca, Eileen McDonald of Pittsburgh and Darla (James) Brown of Portersville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
MCDONALD — Friends of Thomas E. McDonald, who died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at noon Monday at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township, with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.Thomas will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where military honors will be on full display for our veteran, Thomas E.
