The following communities in and near Butler County also are offering public activities over the Fourth of July weekend.

On July 4, the borough will hold a children's bike parade at 5 p.m. Children up to 11 years old may line up with their bikes on Arch Street in front of Marburger Field.A fireman's parade, including a marching band, will follow the bike parade at 6 p.m.A free, light meal will be available in town. Fireworks will be set off at 10 p.m. on Reservoir Hill.

8 p.m. — Patriotic program at Grove City College football field, rain location Crawford Hall10 p.m. — Fireworks display that may be viewed from the football stadium or upper campus.
