My husband and I attended the Parts-A-Rama on Sunday, June 21 (for Father's Day) with our son and his wife. We got there around 2:30 p.m. and paid full price ($32 for the four of us) - By the time we got there, some of the vendors were starting to tear down and seemed irritated when we stopped by their section, plus a few of them were getting cranky with each other and presented a very awkward atmosphere for those of us trying to browse. Then, we did get around a little and by 4:30/5:00 when we wanted something to eat, the food vendors were tearing down. The flier said it was on till dusk. We had to leave in order to be able to eat and lost money and time. I emailed them and asked for a full refund. There was a lot of miscommunication even concerning the car awards ceremony as to time. First, we were told it was at 3:30, then we were told to come back in an hour because the P.A. equipment had to be moved there. Then the swimsuit winner was late and someone had to chase after her because she was at a food booth…¦she came back, not ready and with food!!!! Waiting again!!! And wasting our money and time!

I set up at craft shows and we are not permitted to tear down until a half hour before the show is done. If you advertise till dusk, they should not be permitted to tear down till almost that time…..we shouldn't havee to pay the price because they have a lot of stuff to pack up - do it on the vendor's time and not the patrons….we are paying you for a servicce and were taken for a ride. Please fix this. A little organization and the right hand knowing what the left hand is doing would go a long way… This was undoubtedly one of the worst-organized functions I haave ever attended.
