Jose Raymundo, Nate Succop and Judy Barkley combined to capture first place at the fourth annual Butler Country Club Tennis Pro-Am Sunday.
Eight of the top Pittsburgh-area professionals teamed up with eight top male players and top eight female players from the Butler Country Club. Each male and female player from the club was teamed up with a professional.
In the mixed doubles division, Jay Barkley and Annie Succop teamed up for the victory. Sixteen years ago, when Succop was 7 years old, she teamed up with Barkley in a tournament at the club and the duo prevailed that day as well.

STOCKTON, Calif. — An assistant youth football coach was arrested for felony child abuse after allegedly rushing the field and assaulting a boy on the opposing team, police said.Cory Petero, 36, of Riverbank, turned himself in to Stockton police Saturday night following what witnesses described as a late hit that turned into a brawl, with parents and children from both teams fighting on the field.Referee Tim Winek said he had just called a penalty on Brian Wood, 13, a Stockton Bears player."There was a penalty on the play, and it was a late hit," Winek said. "The parent of the kid who got hit took exception to it. He came charging out onto the field."Daniel Champion, who identified himself as Wood's father, told The (Stockton) Record that his son suffered bruises on his stomach and jaw from the assault.The brawl erupted at around 3:30 p.m. with less than a minute left to play between the Riveroak Redskins and the Bears.Fighting continued for about 20 minutes, according to witnesses. No major injuries were reported.Police are investigating.

Vanderjagt signed as a free agent with Dallas.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Minnesota rookie Francisco Liriano reported no problems after throwing Monday and the star left-hander could rejoin the Twins rotation before the middle of the month.Liriano, on the disabled list since Aug. 8 with a strained ligament in his pitching arm, threw 78 pitches during a 16-minute bullpen session. He is scheduled to throw batting practice on Wednesday.The 22-year-old Liriano is 12-3 with a 2.19 ERA.Minnesota right-hander Brad Radke, who has a stress fracture in his right shoulder, rejoined the team for the start of a three-game series at Tampa Bay.
