Dennis Paul Martsolf
Dennis Paul Martsolf, 65, of Butler passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital, following a 15-year courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 22, 1952, in Butler, he was the son of Joan Boyd Martsolf and the late Paul Martsolf.
He was a member of the Meridian United Presbyterian Church.
In his younger years, he was in the Boy Scouts of America and the Meridian Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Audubon Society. He enjoyed being outdoors in nature, photography and birds.
During his lifetime, he worked as a mechanic, a builder in construction and as a truck driver.
He is survived by his children, Michael D. (Tracy) Martsolf of Butler and Richard P. (Kristen) Martsolf of Portersville; his mother, Joan Boyd Martsolf of Butler; and two grandchildren, Katherine Christie and Charlotte Martsolf.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.
MARTSOLF — A memorial graveside service for Dennis Paul Martsolf, who died Thursday, July 6, 2017, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev.
