Melissa A. “Missy” Cartwright

Melissa A. “Missy” Cartwright, 46, of Harmony passed away Thursday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born June 15, 1970, in Butler, she was the daughter of Patricia Seibel and the late Dennis Cartwright.

Missy was a member of the Crestview Community Church and belonged to the Callery Girls Card Club. An avid sports fan, she loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Panthers, the Steelers, the Penguins and the Pirates. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing. Missy will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Paige Miller and Corey Shotter; her mother, Patricia (James) Seibel Dunbar; and two sisters, Dawn Michelle (John) Yates of Waynesburg and Bonnie Sue (Bruce) Wolfe of Zelienople.

Missy was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Cartwright; and her grandparents, Conrad and Mary Seibel.

CARTWRIGHT — A memorial service for Melissa A. “Missy” Cartwright, who died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Crestview Community Church, 210 Kline Ave., Callery, with the Rev. Robert Goossen officiating.The family would like to invite friends to join in a celebration of Missy's life at the Zelienople American Legion, 308 W. New Castle St., Zelienople, following the church service.The family suggests memorial donations be made to Missy's children, Paige and Corey, at www.gofundme.com/melissacartwright.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
