KIM NOWAKOWSKI (Butler), a sophomore center for the California (Pa.) women's basketball team, scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Vulcans' recent 64-57 victory over Shippensburg. California is 16-4 overall, 5-0 in the PSAC West.
