KIM NOWAKOWSKI (Butler), a senior center for the California (Pa.) University women's basketball team, had three double-doubles and earned a PSAC West Special Mention honor. She averaged 19 points, on 22-of-44 shooting, and 11 rebounds while recording five steals, four blocks and two assists.•

NICOLE REISER (Knoch), a sophomore guard for the Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team, was named to the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference team. She led the squad in 3-point percentage (38 percent) and had 41 treys, averaged 12.9 points per game and led the team in assists (98) and steals (44).•

RYAN GIBSON, SHAWN CARR, RYAN GERBER and CRAIG HALLMAN (Grove City College) were named to the All-President's Athletic Conference Men's Basketball team. Gibson received second-team honors while Carr, Gerber and Hallman were tabbed for the honorable mention squad.•

JUSTIN SHEPHERD (Seneca Valley) placed sixth in the 5,000-meter run for Bloomsburg University at the PSAC Indoor track and Field Championships Sunday at East Stroudsburg University. Shepherd's time was a personal-best 15 minutes, 1.08 seconds.•

SAMANTHA PISTORIUS (Karns City) ran a leg of the winning women's distance medley for Indiana (Pa.) University at the PSACIndoor Track abd Field Championships. The team posted a time of 12 minutes, 15.71 seconds and won the event for the fourth time in six years.
