Margaret Kennedy
Margaret A. “Peggy” Kennedy, 67, of Butler died Sunday evening at V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice.
Born April 25, 1947, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Edward P. Connors and Daisy M. (Kuntz) Connors.
She was a graduate of Butler High School and had worked at Kings Restaurant as a hostess for nine years, then worked at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a nurse's aide for 15 years. She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.
Surviving are her children, Robert E. Kennedy Jr., Brian (Lisa) Kennedy, Shawn (Crystal) Kennedy and Deanna (Joseph) Kennedy-Tirk, all of Butler; six grandchildren, Robert E. Kennedy III, Brian Hutchens, Patric Kennedy, Brianna Kennedy, McKenzie Hutchens and Michael Kennedy; and two step-grandchildren, Randy Robinson and Nikki Berger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Edward P. Connors-Krause; five brothers; and five sisters.
KENNEDY — Friends of Margaret A. “Peggy” Kennedy, who died Sunday, April 12, 2015, will be received at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian.Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.The bereavement committee of St. Fidelis Parish will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home for a prayer service.
