President Donald Trump walks from the Oval Office to speak in the Rose Garden of the White House, Friday, Jan 25, 2019, in Washington.
Plans by President Donald Trump to visit the Shell Chemical ethane cracker plant in Potter Township, Beaver County, on Thursday have been postponed, according to a spokeswoman from U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly's, R-16th, office.
The spokeswoman said the visit to the plant was canceled due to the two mass shootings that took place over the weekend.
One shooting took place in El Paso, Texas on Saturday, killing 20 people, injuring 26 others. The other shooting occurred Sunday in Dayton, Ohio, killing nine people, injuring 27 others.
The spokeswoman did not know when the visit would be rescheduled.
