The ninth annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is Friday to Sunday.Enthusiasts can shop for parts and accessories, and participate in more than a dozen activities. A history exhibit delves into the Jeep’s creation in Butler.The Jeep Invasion, on Butler’s Main Street, features 1,200 Jeeps.Babes of Bantam Trail Ride – Friday – Rides at 9:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.Jeep Invasion – Friday – 6 to 10 p.m.Bantam Barbee Jeep Race – Saturday – 5 to 9 p.m.Best of Bantam (formerly called Show ‘n Shine) – Saturday – Judging from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (all Jeeps must be parked on Saturday no later than 10 a.m.) – Winners announced at 4 p.m. – Trophies awarded at 5 p.m.Bantam Festival of Lights – Saturday – 9 to 11 p.m. – Parking for Festival of Lights begins at 8 p.m.Jeep Playground – Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.Bantam Proving Grounds Jeep Pull – All three days – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
