Tammy Ann Thomas

Tammy Ann Thomas, 53, of New Castle died Saturday night at Sharon Regional Health Center after an illness. She was born May 9, 1963, in Corbin, Ky., and was the daughter of Robert and Edna Molkenthin Arnesberg.

She was a housewife and also loved selling Avon products. She was a member of the New Castle Bible Church. At one time Tammy belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary for the East Butler Fire Hall.

Tammy loved gardening and birdwatching, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and all children. Tammy loved her dog, “Sadie.”

Survivors include her husband, Harry Thomas, who she married Sept. 22, 1979; her mother, Edna Arnesberg of Portersville; two daughters, Melissa Thomas of New Castle and Trista (John) Hinkle of New Castle; one brother, Charles Whaley of New Castle; two sisters, Linda McCue of Slippery Rock and Loretta (Jon) Sacco of Chicora; four grandchildren, Alexis Toth and Austin, Alex and Ava Hinkle; several nieces and nephews; her stepmother-in-law, Joanne Neff; and her stepfather-in-law, Harry (Sherry) Thomas.

THOMAS — There will be no public visitation for Tammy Ann Thomas, who died Saturday, March 18, 2017, and funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society, 628 Pearson Mill Road, New Castle, PA 16101.

Arrangements are being handled by the Jay Bryan Funeral Home in Prospect.
