Esther J. Turner
Esther J. Turner, 75, of Butler passed away Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born Oct. 9, 1936, in Parkers Landing, the daughter of the late Herman L. Snow and Carrie (Huff) Snow.
Esther was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She had worked at Portman Dairy and part-time in food service for the Butler School District. She was the Summit Township secretary for planning and zoning.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan J. (Steve) Rodgers of Butler; two sons, Kevin L. Turner of Cabot and Larry D. (Karen) Turner of Fenelton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Ruthie Turner of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dewayne Turner, who died Aug. 18, 1996; a son, Roy D. Turner Jr.; two sisters; and three brothers.
TURNER — Friends of Esther J. Turner, who passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, will be received at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.Services will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler, at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Joel Benson officiating.
