The North Main Street Church of God, 1139 N. Main St. Ext., is collecting donations for Haiti earthquake relief from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until Feb. 1 at The Haven.
Items needed include baby wipes, construction buckets, nonliquid soap, washcloths, toothpaste and toothbrushes, combs and brushes, medical supplies and cases of water.
Items will be shipped to Haiti and distributed under the supervision of Brother's Brother Foundation.
Tax-deductible financial gifts can be made payable to North Main Street Church of God, with "Haiti Relief" in the memo field, to be distributed to Church of God missions in Haiti.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock Area Parks and Recreation announced the following events:• A one-day ski trip to Peek 'n Peak is planned for Feb. 15. The charter bus leaves Moraine Elementary at 8 a.m. and Slippery Rock Park at 8:30 a.m.• Kiddie Crafts and More will begin new sessions from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Slippery Rock Park. The hour-long class is for 2- to 3-year-olds and includes crafts, stories, games and more.• Rhythmic Movement began new sessions Friday at Slippery Rock Park.
